Large Three Layer Performance Air Filter: This 7” tall 360-degree radial flow air filter features a 5-1/2" by 7-1/2" flange and our oil-free Pro DRY S media with three layers of synthetic media for maximum convenience. Its progressive layering provides great filtration efficiency and dust holding capacity, while not requiring the use of oils. This media is best suited for street and light off-road use. Unique One-Piece Housing: The included massive air filter is surrounded by an open-element XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) polymer housing that minimizes warm engine air for maximum performance. Its open design allows for easy viewing of the air filter, yet creates a heat-blocking seal when the vehicle's hood is closed. Multiple air inlets bring in cool air when under power without capturing any warm air surrounding the engine. FCA Multi-Air Unit Actuator: The factory MUA (Multi-Air Unit Actuator) is easily transferred to the aFe POWER housing to guarantee correct crankcase flow, avoiding check engine lights and damaging factory hoses and sensors. All hoses, clamps, and screws are provided to connect to the aFe POWER tube and secure the MUA to the aFe POWER housing. Dyno-Tuned Intake Tube: The lightweight tube is computer-designed to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. Manufactured from 100% twill weave carbon fiber, it features zero fiberglass and is clear-coated for the highest quality construction. Hassle-Free Installation: This is a direct fit intake system that utilizes factory mounting points. All necessary stainless-steel clamps, silicone coupling, and hardware are included. Its revolutionary design, featuring our patent pending filter-to-housing interface, uses half the number of parts of a traditional cold air intake system.
